Our Last Day in Bridgewater

I wanted to update when our last day will be open for business in Bridgewater.

It looks pretty firm to be Sunday, October 21!!!!

So if you have never seen our shop in Vermont your opportunity to do so is now dwindling rapidly.

If you are simply waiting for us to open our doors at 3 South Street, well, I understand. Bridgewater really is in the middle of nowhere. At least that is what it feels like to me everytime I have to drive to Hanover or Norwich or anywhere for that matter.

If you do find yourself heading down Route 4 in the next couple weeks, maybe to look at the foliage (which we do have a neat view of from our outside cafe deck) please drop in and mention you read this blog.

Can't imagine a better balm for bustling Hanover than the soothing smells and delicious treats you'll bring to the table.

Ahh your last days in Bridgewater...the cozy hub your cafe created in the midst of swirling creativity from Miranda and her Merry Potters to Charles and his band of saws and wooly wood workers to the thrifty gals aloft..anyone not sure about the trek...check out the thrift shop on the top floor for halloween costumes that won't break the bank.

I will be forever mindful that the delicious ending to the most magical meal of my life (translation please...wedding cakes from Umpleby's are the BEST!!!) was conceived in that building with the help of your wonderful wife Carolyn.

Cheers and all the best for your new endeavor.
